Adventurer, broadcaster, author and travel journalist Monty Halls, joins the prestigious line up of celebrities including Helen Skelton, Michaela Strachan and Matt Allwright making guest appearances at the Motorhome & Caravan Show 2019 at the NEC, Birmingham in October.
Monty, who will make a guest appearance on Thursday 17th October, shot to fame due to his three hugely popular BBC series ‘Great Escapes’, where he lived on the west coasts of Scotland and Ireland with his dog Reuben.
Monty went on to present the multi-award-winning BBC NHU blue chip series ‘Great Barrier Reef, The Fisherman’s Apprentice, again for the BBC, a series for Discovery and Channel 5 and the Channel 4 series last year ‘My Family and the Galapagos’.
A former Royal Marines Officer who worked for Nelson Mandela during the peace process in the early nineties, Monty left the forces to pursue a career in expeditions, travel journalism, and marine biology.
Monty has since led teams in some of the most challenging environments on Earth.
Taking place from 15–20 October 2019 at the NEC, Birmingham, the Motorhome and Caravan Show promises a great day out for the whole family.
The show boasts the UK’s largest display of motorhomes, caravans, campervans, trailer tents, caravan holiday homes and lodges and accessories all under one roof.
