Camping

Camping pitches will be available from 10am Thursday 19th September to 12 noon Monday 23rd September 2019.

As part of your pitch fee, you will have unlimited access into the exhibition area on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

If you’re a subscriber to MMM, What Motorhome, Campervan, Camping or Caravan magazine your £5 discount will be automatically deducted once you are logged into your account. If you would prefer to book by post, you can download a booking form here.

You will be charged for your pitch from the day you arrive until Monday. Unfortunately, they don’t offer a nightly rate.

The cost is for two adults and upto three children. It includes four nights of evening entertainment and unlimited access to the exhibtion area. Pitches will be available in the non-booked general and non-booked disabled areas (Blue badge required).

You will be charged for your pitch from the day you arrive until Monday. Unfortunately, they’re unable to offer a nightly rate.

All tickets include a free showguide, free goody bag, free stock list and free parking.

The car park gates will close one hour after the show closes.

Please note signal at the showground is poor so they are unable to accept any credit or debit cards at the day visitor entrance.

Dogs

Dogs are welcome at the Show and we ask all owners to be responsible for their animals. Please do not leave animals unattended in vehicles

Disabled Ticket Policy

If a visitor has a full-time carer or attendant, free admission may be available for them when an adult ticket is purchased. This concession is only available by applying in advance, with supporting documentation to the Organisers. All documents must be received at least 7 days prior to the show. Confirmation of free carer admission will be emailed to you. The email must be printed and presented on arrival at the Day Visitor entrance for verification. Additional Adult ticket/s can be purchased either on arrival or in advance.

Mobility

Professional Mobility will be hiring mobility aids throughout the weekend. They will also offer a charging service. Hire can be booked in advance by calling 0800 6335711 or 07989 680034.

Evening entertainment is included in your camping pitch and is therefore only open to those camping on-site. It is on a first come first served basis. All showtimes will be published in your showguide given to you on arrival.

MJ Linedancing will be offering tuition on Thursday, Friday & Saturday.

All evening entertainment is included except for Saturday evening’s show in the Main Venue where a separate ticket is required. Adults: £18 Children: £9 

The organisers reserve the right to alter the entertainment line-up and due to environmental health regulations all entertainment must finish by 11pm.


Daytime Entertainment

10th Essex Living History Group

A must see when visiting the show. 10th Essex are a military display and living history group who depict British Soliders in the Great War of 1914 – 1918. Their objective is to create a ‘visual remembrance’ to those brave men, and to be able to interact and educate visitors. The group are more than happy to share their interesting historical stories with you.

Lincoln City Centre> £3pp return (children 50p) – Continuous shuttle bus service all day between 9am and 5pm.

Tickets can be purchased from the information office on arrival at the show.


Camping Information

There will be thousands of Motorhomes, Caravans, Campervans, RV’s and Tents during the weekend. 

All pitch prices include 2 adults, and up to 3 children. Additional adults are £15 each, and additional children £7.50. As part of your pitch fee, you will have unlimited access into the exhibition area on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

If you’re planning to stay on site, they have to put together a handy A-Z to answer any questions.

AWNINGS
Awnings are permitted as long as they are within your pitch allocation. (10x8metres)

CATERING FACILITIES
There will be a variety of food outlets situated around the Exhibition Area.

CASH POINTS
Unfortunately there aren’t any cash machines on-site.

CAMPING AREAS
Camping fields open 10am Thursday and close 12 noon Monday. If you wish to camp with friends/relatives, all vehicles must arrive together. The camper’s arrival gate will close at 9pm Thursday and Friday subject to weather conditions. 

There are several camping areas available:

-Pre-booked disabled 
If you are a holder of a blue badge, then you can stay in the Disabled Area which will be situated nearer the Exhibition Area. You will need to have your blue badge on display and please be aware that the badges will be inspected on arrival at the Show.

-Pre-booked general 
Our general area is open to all pre-booked campers. There is a separate non-booked general area.

-Clubs
If your club is hosting a rally at this show, you may be able to camp with them (space allowing). Pitches in club areas must be pre-booked. Click hereto see if your club is rallying.

-Non-booked campers
Non-booked campers can stay in either the non-booked general or non-booked disabled area (please note there is limited space in both areas and blue badges will be inspected upon arrival). 

Thursday arrival £65 (rally gates open at 10am and close at 9pm)
Friday arrival £62 (rally gates open at 8am and close at 9pm)

DOGS
Dogs are welcome in the rally and exhibition area as long as they are kept on a lead and under control. Dogs are not allowed in the entertainment venues, but are allowed on the bus trips. 

ELECTRIC
There are no electric hook-ups available at this show.

ENGINEER
If you have a problem with your vehicle whilst at the show, please visit the information office who will be able to help you. 

ENTERTAINMENT 
Entry to the evening entertainment is on a first come basis. Should the entertainment venue become full; a one-in, one-out policy will be operated.
Evening entertainment is only open to campers staying on-site. 

FIRST AID
Medical Services will be on site for the duration of the Show. If you require first aid please contact the medical centre as shown on the site plan in the official showguide or contact a member of staff who will call them for you.

GAS
Available from the Calor Gas stand next to the information office during show opening times. Free delivery service available. Call: 07721 318575.

GENERATORS
Generators can be used only between 8am-10pm and ideally only for two hours at a time. They ask all campers to be considerate of their neighbours when it comes to using a generator. 

INFORMATION OFFICE
The location of the information office is shown on your site plan in the showguide. Opening hours are: 
Thursday – 9:00am–5:00pm
Friday – 9:00am–5:30pm
Saturday – 9:00am–5:30pm
Sunday – 9:00am–4:30pm

MEDICATION
If you or any of your party requires medication, please ensure that you bring this with you.

SMOKING POLICY
Smoking including E-cigarettes is not permitted in any buildings or marquees.

All visitors will receive a FREE showguide on admission, containing information on exhibitors, entertainment and full site plans.

Facilities are available on site.

VEHICLE PASS
Once you have made your booking, your vehicle pass will be posted out to you. (If you are travelling you can ask for your tickets to be left at the gate). Please make sure your tickets are correct upon receipt and bring them with you to the show. On arrival at the show you will need to display your ticket in the driver’s side of the windscreen and you will be given wristbands which you will need to wear for the duration of the show. Please note if you have ordered entertainment tickets, these will need to be collected from the information office upon arrival.

WATER 
Water will be available on site but they do suggest that you bring some with you as due to the volume of vans arriving on site, water pressure can vary.

WIFI 
Unfortunately Wi-Fi isn’t available. 


How to Find

The Lincolnshire Showground is situated just five miles north of Lincoln City Centre on the A15.

The A15 is easily reached from the A1, A57 and A46, follow signposts to the Showground or The Motorhome Show.
