Eight Foot Wide Caravans

While we were visiting the NEC earlier on in the month we teamed up with Jules from Here We Tow and had a look around some of the latest 8 foot wide caravans that are on the market.

Lunar Quasar 686

First up was the Lunar Quasar 686. Based on the same footing as its bigger brother the Alria, this Quasar has bags of room for a family of 6 to live in. The layout works well with a large front lounge at the front which converts into a double bed and a family size side dinette behind that which also converts into a double bed, opposite is the kitchen and at the rear is a fixed corner bed with a corner washroom.

Bailey Pegasus Grande Palermo

Next up is the Bailey Pegasus Grande Palermo. This is just one of a whole range of 8 foot vans from Bailey to see more of the range click HERE.

The Palermo is also a 6 berth van but with a different layout from the Lunar. This has again has a large front lounge with a family dinette behind which both convert into double beds. The difference with this layout is instead of a fixed double bed there are bunk beds with a small seating area at the back which gives even more room for the children to play in.

Elddis Avante 860

The Elddis Avante 860 is the first four berth we look at. This layout has a mid washroom with a transverse bed at the rear. A great van that would give a couple loads of living space. Also in same family are the 8 foot Compasses and Buccaneers too.

Swift Elegance Grande 635

Last up is the NEW Swift Elegance Grande. This top of the range van along side the two other layouts in the range ooze quality. The 635 also has a mid washroom with a end bedroom but this time the bed is on the offside wall. This range has all the latest gadgets and can feel the price tag when you first walk in.
