Tripbuddy has reviewed its model range and is introducing the Anyone Lite and Anywhere Lite models, available from £19,995 and £24,995, respectively.
The lightweight, innovative Tripbuddy design, with its distinctive style, one-piece bodyshell and 25 year water ingress warranty, makes the Lite models unique in the leisure vehicle market.
Many customers like to create their own, bespoke designs andTripbuddy makes that easy with a full choice of options to upgrade the specification and interior furnishings, as well as offering a choice of over 1,600 exterior colours.
Both Tripbuddy models have rear doors, with the choice of 60/40 split rear doors or the option of the clamshell tailgate. This provides great accessibility for the likes of bikes or mobility aides, and creating a wide opening to enjoy and integrate the interior and exterior living spaces together – and views of the great outdoors.
The Tripbuddy Anyone Lite is ultra-lightweight with an MIRO of 650kg and MTPLM of 750kg, which makes it suitable to be towed by small cars as well as hybrid and the increasing number of electric vehicles, and by anyone with a full driving licence. If more payload is required, the MTPLM can be uprated to 1,100kg.
Its larger stablemate, the Anywhere Lite, the original Tripbuddy model, has recently been subtly enhanced. Despite its larger size, it is still lightweight with an MIRO of 1,150kg and now has a lower standard MTPLM of 1,500kg to help any owners without B+E driving licence entitlement. This still gives a generous payload of 350kg, but this can be doubled to 700kg by choosing to upgrade the MTPLM to its maximum of 1,850kg.
Both models have a full-sized cabin with a yacht-stye pedastal table that converts into a double bed at the press of a button. The cushions, headlining and wall coverings come in a wide range of fabrics. The galley has a stainless steel hob and sink unit with hot and cold water, plus a refrigerator with built-in freezer compartment. The expandable washroom is fitted with a toilet and shower; two pivoting screens enclose the compartment when being used, and fold away afterwards.
Alternative interior layouts can be specified, such as bunk beds and additional kitchen or storage space unit in lieu of the washroom area.

The philosophy behind Tripbuddy’s unique design is that its designers wanted to take a new approach to get away from the traditional ‘white box’ caravan design.
They also wanted to create something that didn’t need to be as large and bulky as conventional designs, and could genuinely be called ‘cool’.
It is also highly engineered from the ground up to be safer to tow, thanks to automotive-sized wheels and an aerodynamic shape to make it less effected by side winds while towing, and also to save fuel.
Tripbuddy’s managing director, Trevor Walker, commented:
“With such an innovative and exclusive design, it is only natural that customers will want to make their Tripbuddy bespoke to them, so realigning our range and prices to give them that choice was a natural decision.”
“We believe our Anyone Lite is the lightest, full-height tourer in the UK that includes a shower and toilet, and it’s certainly the most distinctive and innovative,”
Tripbuddy was designed in the UK and is manufactured at Itchenor, near Chichester in West Sussex, but can be exported across the world.
Although currently sold directly by Tripbuddy, there are plans to appoint regional dealers in the UK, mainland Europe, USA, Australia and New Zealand.
